• This is a variable rate interest bearing account.  The interest rate and A.P.Y. (Annual Percentage Yield) on your account may change at any time at the discretion of Valley Bank & Trust

• A minimum balance of $1,000.00 must be maintained each day to obtain the disclosed A.P.Y.

Requirements:

• $50.00 minimum for each withdrawal or check

• No more than 6 transfers per month made by check, draft, debit card or similar order  

Benefits:

• Interest bearing account at a variable rate

• Interest is compounded and credited to your account monthly. We use the daily balance method to calculate the interest on your account.  This method applies a daily periodic rate to the principal in the account each day.  Interest begins to accrue no later then the business day we receive credit for the deposit on non-cash items (for example, checks).

• If account is closed before interest is credited, you will not receive the accrued interest.

Cost:

• There is a $10.00 fee per check if more than 3 are written
